Upon entering SSMS, you will immediately notice what sets this impressive school apart...
“My daughter has had an enriching experience at South Seminole Middle School in the Leadership Magnet program. She has had excellent teachers, good friends, and opportunities to further her growth academically and socially. The band program stands out as great way to challenge herself and the friends she made there are like family. She is fully prepared for high school. I highly recommend this magnet school.”
“I have one son there now and one who graduated last year. My boys couldn't be any more different if they tried, and trust me they try! The teachers have a heart for middle school students which if we are honest with ourselves is an acquired taste. The administration works to not only maintain a safe environment for all 1200 students but also to promote lifelong skills and the 7 highly effective habits that will stick with my sons on their life journeys. Not every class is perfect and some days of testing schedules seem a bit unnecessary BUT I know that the heart and intentions are in the right place. Guiding my sons to their personal strengths and successes is a partnership I take serious alongside their teachers.”
